Bill Thomas 

   Bowling Green,  KY

   Bill was hired at Xerox in Nashville April 

   15, 1965.  He was assigned to the Bowling

   Green, Kentucky territory as the only

   service representative and covered 9 

   counties.  The territory had 9 Haloid /Xerox

   machines, (one was manual operated),

   plus 10 Xerox 914 copiers installed. 

   The territory grew fast, Steve Decker being

   the first man added.  After 6 (1971) years

   Louisville picked up Bowling Green and we grew to 9 service representatives! Bill was promoted to OTS with 28 reps and several more counties. 

Since his retirement, Feb. 28, 2001, (37 years), he and his wife Kaye have enjoyed

many trips around the United States in their comfortable and trusty motorhome. 

 

Today, at 85, years young (1938), Kaye and Bill still live in Bowling Green in same home they built in 1978.  They have 3 children,12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
