David began his career with Xerox in the mid to
late 1960s as a GEM (Government-Education-Medical) Sales Representative serving the Kentucky State Government. From the very beginning, he distinguished himself through strong performance, sound judgment, and a natural ability to connect with people.

His success led to a promotion to Area Manager in Lexington during the 1970s, where he continued to excel. Dave earned numerous performance awards throughout his career, including multiple Xerox Presidents Club and Par Club trips—recognition reserved for the company’s top achievers. As a manager, he was highly respected for his leadership and his remarkable ability to “read” people, whether working with customers or guiding his team.

One story that captures both his leadership style and personality took place when Dave and the Lexington team hosted a dinner for Xerox Vice President Jim Keil. As a gesture of true Kentucky hospitality, they presented Mr. Keil with an authentic bottle of Kentucky moonshine—an unexpected and memorable gift that none of them would soon forget.

David and his wife, Diane, have built a wonderful life together, raising two sons and welcoming a grandson. Today, they enjoy retirement in beautiful Colorado, surrounded by family.

Attached is the gang. It is great to be a lot closer to all of them".
