John worked with Xerox for 12 

years through the 70s and early

 80s as a GSA and Major 

Account Sales Representative.

John Falvey spent over three decades in the commercial real estate industry in Louisville, sales, leasing, and development of office and retail properties, John established himself as a trusted leader in the field.

In December 2011, he merged his company, Falvey Commercial Properties, Ltd., with Fortis Group. John founded Falvey Commercial Properties in 1993, building its reputation as one of Louisville's premier commercial brokerage firms. For 18 years, the firm excelled in office and retail leasing, site selection, and the sales of commercial buildings and land.

John’s impressive client roster includes prominent national and local companies. His expertise has been instrumental in closing some of the market's most significant real estate transactions.

Before founding Falvey Commercial Properties, John served as a partner and vice president at STM Development Company, where he spent a decade developing and leasing suburban office buildings and shopping centers.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, John served as an infantry officer in Vietnam shortly after graduating from Xavier University with a degree in Business Administration. He later earned a Master's degree in Human Relations from Webster University.

John has also been deeply involved in his community, serving on various trade organizations and local boards, including the Oldham County Planning Commission.

A Southern gentleman known for his honor, determination, and dedication, John has been successful both personally and professionally. He and his wife, Riki, now retired, still reside in Pewee Valley but visit their grandchildren in South Carolina as much as possible.
