James "Russell" Logsdon , 74, of Finchville, formerly of Louisville passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 surrounded by his family.
He was a retired technical representative for Xerox Corporation after 30 years of service, a Kentucky Colonel and a former member of Okolona Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Ann (Bennett) Logsdon; two sons, Mark Russell Logsdon of Finchville and Todd Bennett Logsdon (Amy) of Crestwood and two grandchildren, Ben and Molly Logsdon.
His funeral will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pearson-Ratterman Bros. Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, Middletown with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
It was Russell's wish for memorial gifts to be made in his name to the International Multiple Myeloma Foundation, Boy Scout Troop #167 at Crestwood Methodist Church, Hosparus or Norton Children's Hospital Foundation.
